FrenchThe French Revolution occurred from 1789 - 1799. Caused by large debt, bad harvests and poor representation in government of the starving poor, French citizens saw the Third Estate fight against the monarchy, created the Declaration of the Rights of Man, lived through the Reign of Terror and saw the King and Queen lose their heads. It all ended with military general Napoleon Bonaparte taking control of France and ending the French regime.

IndustrialThe Industrial Revolution was the transition to new manufacturing processes in the period from about 1760 to 1840. This period of time saw an increase in technological advancements ultimately making the manufacturing of goods faster and easier.

HaitianThe Haitian Revolution was a slave revolt in the French colony of Sainte-Dominque. The end of the revolution brought down slavery in the colony and created the Republic of Haiti.
